Thanks for sharing this video. Some really great stuff. I particularly love the attention to reward placement, and the flow through the training session. I also love how she re-engaged the dog around the 6 minute mark when she was starting to lose her.

When my mind goes blank and I can’t remember what I wanted to do next, I ask for a fun trick (my dogs’ favourite is spin/twirl and back up), or I put them in a quick down/stay, grab some treats (which gives me a few seconds to think), then back to work.

That was great, I learn so much from watching other trainers and how they adjust during a session. I have one of Ms. Flanery’s clicker training dvd’s that shows her working with owners and their dogs at a seminar and I see more things every time I watch it. I’m not 100% sure but I think Kashi is a Tibetian Terrier.
